Billed as ‘a comprehensive, concise and clearly structured overview of the international world of interior design’, exhibitors’ stands at imm Cologne seem to increase in size and stature year on year. The 2019 edition is at Koelnmesse 14-20 January, and the first four days are for trade only. Hall 11 presents several German brands including Miinu, Kymo and Hey Sign in ‘Pure Atmospheres’. The latter will bring Relief, a felt mural for sound-absorbing walls. You will nd Mischioff from Italy and Turkish brand Stepevi here too. Nordic rugs from the Danish Linie Design’s new Selected Collection can be found in the ‘Comfort’ of Hall 6, while Patricia Urquiola’s delightful new Mirage rugs for Spanish brand GAN will be in ‘Pure Editions’, Hall 2. Here too is Das Haus: the annual interpretation, by an invited designer, of what a home can be. This year, Joel & Kate Booy, the Australian founders of Netherlands-based Studio Truly Truly, are up. It is always interesting to note how furniture brands use rugs and textiles to provide context to their products at imm;

Talis rugs will furnish the ADA and Violetta stands. We expect to find many more creative, cross- disciplinary partnerships come January. www.imm-cologne.com
